Rebuild Vision
Why 'Rebuild' Ministries?
The Bible has many passages that use the metaphor of rebuilding. To build and to plant is prefaced by pulling down and removing the old in Jeremiah 1: 10 and then restoring what has been plundered, destroyed and rendered dysfunctional.
They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations. Is 61:4
Sometimes people feel so broken and useless that no matter how hard they try they cannot rise above it. The vision of this ministry is to let Jesus rebuild and restore our lives as we allow His presence to bring truth to the brokenness.

We used to pass by an empty house every day on our way to work. Our family of four needed a home after moving seven times in two years. One day, we decided to take a closer look. The house was in terrible shape—leaky roof, condensation running down the windows, mouldy walls and carpets, and sagging ceilings supported by makeshift wooden planks. Despite its condition, we saw potential in the house's former beauty, its lovely patterned glass doors and spacious rooms and decided to buy it. We replaced the roof, fixed the interior damage, rebuilt the garage into an extra bedroom and office, and eliminated the dampness. We enjoyed that family home for many years. This true story serves as a poignant metaphor for our inner condition shaped by past experiences. The truth is that some aspects of us need to be taken apart and looked at carefully and then re-framed and rebuilt. All too often we avoid the hard work required, finding temporary fixes instead. Just as we wouldn't rebuild a house over mould or without fixing the roof, we must not ignore unresolved emotional pain from our past. Is it time to take a deeper look?
